Story 10
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Varsha. One day, while sitting on the roof of her house, she noticed a large park in front of her home. Sadly, the park was in very poor condition. There were no proper swings for children, no place for people to walk comfortably, and not even enough plants or greenery. The area looked neglected, and the residents were troubled by its condition.
Seeing this, Varsha decided to take action. She wanted to improve the park with the help of the people in her colony. First, she gathered the residents and discussed her idea with them. Everyone agreed that the park needed improvement, and together they began contributing funds for its redevelopment.
An educated girl named Meena was appointed as an officer to handle the official work. Meena coordinated with government authorities to get permission and support for rebuilding the park. All these efforts were carried out under Varsha’s guidance.
The work began step by step. Fresh grass was planted, and a variety of trees and plants were added to bring life back to the park. Beautiful fountains were installed, and proper arrangements were made for watering the plants, including the installation of a water motor. The park was cleaned regularly, and a caretaker was appointed to maintain it.
Once the main work was completed, bright lights were installed throughout the park, making it safe and pleasant even in the evening. For this, Varsha once again collected donations from the people of the colony.
Soon, the park was completely transformed. It became a lively and welcoming place. Children finally had a safe area to play, families could enjoy walks, and the greenery brought freshness to the surroundings. The project also created small job opportunities for some people.
In the end, Varsha’s initiative not only improved the park but also brought the entire community together, showing how collective effort can create meaningful change.
